Accessibility at Greenbooth Reservoir

Access via Forsyth Lane entrance OL12 7SD, continue up this road onto a cobbled road until it bears left to the reservoir car park. It’s quite a way up and cobbled most of the way and might be an issue for people with sensory overwhelm. There is plenty of space for wheelchair-accessible vehicles or loading/unloading wheelchairs. Be aware there are potholes in the parking area, however, there is enough space to maneuver around them.

The Over Town Lane entrance  OL12 7TQ has a kissing gate and is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

There are no toilets at all on the Greenbooth site. The closest ones are a 10-minute drive away:

1. Heywood Sports Village West Starkey Street, Heywood, OL10 4TW, fully wheelchair accessible with Stoma friendly facilities. Opening times Mon-Sun 6.30am-10pm.

2. The Mill About, Spotland Bridge Mill, Bridgefold Road, Rochdale OL11 5BU, cafe with disabled toilets. Open Tues-Fri 8.30am-4pm, Sat 9am-3pm.
